WE ARE OPEN AND SUPPORTING THIS COMMUNITY
In accordance with Governor Northam's Executive Orders 53 and 55, Dunton, Simmons & Dunton has remained open during the COVID-19 crisis in order to provide services to our clients. As public restrictions ease, things are returning to normal.
We remain busy with personal financial planning and business matters. Although the Virginia Supreme Court continues to recognize a judicial emergency at every level of the judiciary, , local courts have reopened with restrictions following a two-month closure. As a result, we are again able to help clients with litigation. Many clients continue to ask us about how executive orders and federal actions affect their businesses and organizations.
In general, we are seeing an uptick in all business activity.
On June 1, 2020, we reopened our office to visitors on a limited basis. If you plan to visit us, please call ahead because we are still observing stringent social distancing and screening limitations for the safety of our staff, our clients and the community. We hope to lift these restrictions soon. In the meantime, we have gotten used to handling most client needs by telephone or Zoom conference. Please do not hesitate to contact us.
For almost 90 years, Dunton, Simmons & Dunton has provided critical services that our clients need during times of the utmost crisis. We are not about to stop now.
