TAXATION LAW
Dunton, Simmons & Dunton, LLP has always maintained a strong taxation law practice,  far beyond what a rural firm can typically offer.  We represent clients in income and estate tax planning matters and provide tax advice on transactional cases, such as the purchase and sale of a business and tax-free exchanges of real estate.

We also represent clients before the Internal Revenue Service and the Virginia Department of Taxation in tax-related disputes.  Our practice in the area of qualified retirement plans is limited to small profit sharing plans, and the Firm does not practice in the area of collections.
