John C. Hodges

A partner with Dunton, Simmons & Dunton, L.L.P. since 1998, John focuses his practice on corporate and business law, currently serving as corporate counsel and registered agent for approximately 300 limited liability companies and corporations located within the Commonwealth of Virginia and surrounding states. In addition to a vibrant corporate counseling and litigation practice, Mr. Hodges has an active civil litigation practice in construction, contract, and riparian boundary disputes. In addition, Mr. Hodges was named the Best Kept Secret in Pleasant Living magazine.

Mr. Hodges graduated from Saint Christopher's High School in 1990, from East Carolina University cum laude, and from Widener University School of Law with honors. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Hodges and his wife, Pam, decided to return to the Northern Neck, where Mrs. Hodges was born and raised. Mr. Hodges draws on his substantial civil trial, corporate, and real estate experience in his service as a director for the Bank of Lancaster and for the Lancaster County Library. Mr. Hodges also enjoys coaching little league baseball, hunting white tail deer and turkey, and fishing. Mr. Hodges has three beautiful children, one son and two daughters.
